Multiple Miles for Myeloma began in 2010, under the direction of George Campsall, as an initiative to raise funds for local myeloma research and increase awareness of this cancer. This fun filled walk/run morning brings families, friends, patients, doctors and scientist together to enjoy and outdoor activity and great food to raise funds for an very important cause. To date over $800,000 has been raised to support Myeloma Research at the University of Alberta and the Cross Cancer Institute.

♦Register as a participant (includes morning coffee, BBQ lunch, tee shirt) Note: NO TAX RECEIPT provided for registration fees, these cover event costs.
♦Solicit Donations/sponsorships: 100% tax Receipted; 100% towards Myeloma Research
♦Corporate matching of employee donations
♦Corporate purchase of km post (display, activities):100% Tax receipted
♦Corporate contribution to MM4M event operations (public recognition only- NO TAX receipt)
♦Volunteers required for pre MM4M planning and MM4M event day activities

MM4M Guiding Principles:
Registration fees are used to offset cost of event and have been kept to a minimum in hope of encouraging participants to solict sponsorship/donations to support Myeloma Research at the Cross Cancer Institute and the University of Alberta. Tax receipts for Donations (not Registration fees) are issued by the University of Alberta.
Confidentiality of Personal Information: Myeloma Alberta Support Society uses your personal information solely for the purpose of the society operations and does not distribute or provide this information to any other organization.
ALL Donations made to Myeloma Alberta Support Society are currently issued Tax Receipts through the University of Alberta.
